 Groups Protest Film "Tropic Thunder" for its Portrayal of Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
The Arc of Baltimore is joining with self-advocates and other members of the disability community nationwide to protest Paramount Pictures’ new comedy “Tropic Thunder.”

Bay Buddies Expands to 100 Kids
The Arc’s Bay Buddies program, a unique summer enrichment program for 100 children with special needs now includes five participating schools. This year’s activities includes trips to the B&O Museum and the MD Science Center, sailing, and other adventures.

Registration available for Respite Conference
The Maryland Respite Care Coalition will hold their annual Respite Awareness Conference on October 27th, 2008 at the Maritime Institute Conference Center in Linthicum Heights.  Golf Tournament A Success
More than 200 golfers enjoyed a beautiful day in June (following the May rainout) at The Arc's 14th Annual Golf Tournament and raised more than $100,000.
