Meet our Employers of Distinction
Many companies enjoy the benefits of having individuals with developmental disabilities work for them – either through contract with The Arc or through individual employment with all the benefits and payroll advantages they may offer. The Arc recognizes the companies who directly employ individuals with developmental disabilities and demonstrate particular practices that really help those individuals be successful. Since 2006, the following companies have been named as Employers of Distinction: Glyndon Lord Baltimore Cleaners, Home Depot, Koons Chevrolet, McDonald’s, Mercy Ridge, Oak Crest, RREEF Management, Safeway, SYMS Clothing, University of Maryland Baltimore, and Whiteford Taylor & Preston.
